密歇根州立大学位于美国中北部密歇根州的东兰辛市，是美国最大的州立大学之一。该校有150年的历史，现在已发展成为一所集教学和科研机构为一体的一流综合性大学，在美国及国际上都享有声誉。作为第一所由政府拨地而创建的公立大学，她一贯以教育面向普通大众、商业和政府机构为使命。学校共有15个学院，200多个院系和专业，很多专业在全美高校中名列前茅，且于世界闻名。全校共有四万多名学生和三千多位教授，来自120个国家的500位访问学者和2,800余名留学生,另外有1,200位教授曾在世界各国从事教学或科学研究。 MSU学校校园是全美几个最大最美的校园之一。优美的环境为学生和附近社区提供了良好的活动场所。

服务设施

学校拥有许多独特的设施，包括沃顿表演艺术中心，上演许多歌剧、舞蹈和百老汇音乐剧等；校博物馆具有地方和国际特色；校图书馆藏书达四百多万册。校园内还有许多健康和娱乐设施，包括两座国家一级18洞的高尔夫球场、室内运动场、体操房、游泳池及网球场等。MSU所在的东兰辛市与密歇根州府兰辛市比邻。兰辛市拥有通用汽车公司在北美规模最大的汽车装配线；东兰辛则是一座文化教育名城。

接机住宿

学校附近的机场为：Lansing Capital City Airport. 学校不提供接机服务，打车到校需20美金左右。学校为国际学生提供校内住宿，单人间Owen Graduate Center或双人间McDonel Hall。
